They wanted something to change, and until it did, they would not put themselves in danger. They stood for their civil rights and for the safety of their fellow Navy men. And in return? The daily columns are being compiled into five hardbound volumes. The first two, for 1861 and 1862, have been published, but only the second volume is available at this time at the Tribune offices. The program will be held at the Missouri State Archives, a division of his office, on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at 7 pm Dr. Matthew J.
