Martha Monfried's sister has attempted suicide five times and is now at Western State Hospital trying to control her depression and other mental illnesses, after attempting to jump off the 520 bridge on New Year's Day in 2010. Monfried says that only 5% of families visit their relatives at the Western State Hospital, and says families have to reach out.
