Here are the teacher/helper/bus driver gifts that Carson gave this year. They were a big hit with everyone and we had a lot of fun getting them ready! I've even heard that a couple teachers even took pictures of the gift so they could use it in the future for their students to make for Mother's Day or the like. Carson lost his front two teeth on the same day!

Today we received the phone call back from Cedar River Montessori School regarding the results of our admissions interview that we had on Monday! And their decision was."NO"! Big bummer, but I had something deep down telling me that we were not going to get in! I wasn't hugely surprised and I wasn't hugely upset by their decision either!

Building essential skills for future success. End of Year Ideas. May 11, 2014. To celebrate ending the 6 days dedicated to the NYS ELA and MAth assessments, we decided to have a bubble party. Shockingly, the exams still require students to bubble in their answers throughout the tests. Later on, we also made sure to get our co-workers a bottle of champagne to have them also celebrate the end of bubbling in names and codes. It’s so fun to see the growth of students over so many dimensions. April 25, 2014.
