One of the biggest adjustments I have had to make since moving here was living on a gravel road. And I absolutely h.a.t.e. it. In the Fall and Summer it is dry and dusty. And in the Winter and Spring it is muddy, wet, and nasty. Each property owner is supposed to maintain their portion of the road and only some do. For more than twenty years I lived in the city or suburbia. No dirt or gravel roads.
