Photography by Bethany L. Potter. Fremont Farmer’s Market. There’s many cool-but-costly events which bring the community together in Seattle, but if you’re looking for a free, unique year-round destination, visit the Fremont Sunday Market. Fremont is a wondrous place in itself, where time slows down, yet everyone stays active with personal hobbies and community interests. It’s home to several great $10-$25 summer and fall events like the Outdoor Movies. Center of the Universe. See you next Sunday? Click ...

Inside USA: Juni 2009
http://inside-usa.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Dienstag, 30. Juni 2009. Irgendwann schreibe ich mal noch einen generellen Artikel über das Auto fahren hier, aber heute will ich mich nur mal dem Thema Straßenmarkierungen auf den Freeways widmen. Montag, 29. Juni 2009. Ich mit dem Mount Rainier im Hintergrund. Im Schnee unt...

Dark brown cabinets: This was just a random image I found online to show you the color we plan to stain our existing cabinets. Saturday, June 19, 2010. Flying Spaghetti Monster Sighting at Fremont Summer Solstice Parade! No written or printed words or logos. No animals (except guide dogs and service animals). No motorized vehicles (except wheelchairs). No real weapons or fire. No, not the cyclists, although that was pretty cool. My favorite was the FSM. He came to bless us with his noodley appendages! For more info about the parade. For more info about the cyclists. For more info about the FSM. Http:/ www.venganza.org/. All of t...

Comfy Fuzzy Ninjas: June 2011
http://comfyninja.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
My life in and around Seattle and the randomness I get into. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Apparently there was some kind of virus incubating in my room that I've disturbed with my packing, perhaps hidden twixt the pages of seldom opened books, or perhaps napping against the window on the bus exposed me to a previous passenger's infection. I was dealing with repetitive spreadsheets that were incorrect and had to be perfect or the website would explode! But yay, new place! Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Or maybe it's...

With late Saturday afternoon start, Fremont ‘naked’ bike ride could be big | Tom Fucoloro

Live resume of a journalist, bicyclist and theater/music producer in Seattle. With late Saturday afternoon start, Fremont â nakedâ bike ride could be big. Photo from 2012 ride by Dave Lichterman via Flickr. What started with just a couple naked people crashing the Fremont Solstice Parade in the 90s, the ride became a tradition. Other than some early police crackdowns and a few Fremont grouches, the ride has grown and grown to become a vital highlight in Seattle culture. How do I ride? So you want to ride?

Beer Term: Cabbagelike - High Octane Growler
http://highoctanegrowler.com/2013/06/cabbagelike-hog-beer-ter
June 22, 2013. Bull; 0 Comments. Beer Terms from High Octane Growler. No, it’s not quite what Tommy’s breath smells like after a night of imbibing (we tend to think that aroma is more like cheese). Cabbagelike is the name for the creepy, cooked vegetable aroma and taste in beer which is often the result of wort spoilage bacteria killed by alcohol in fermentation. No, we said cabbagelike, not Cabbage Head. On the plus side, it’s the first day of summer. So along with recommending a hike in Solstice Canyon.

Howling at the Moon: June 2013
http://zoomdoggies.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Howling at the Moon. A mostly true account of life with a guy, a recently-ex-teenager currently living and working in Japan, a couple of narrow dogs, retirement from a job as a tech writer, a recently-acquired obsession with stalking dead people, and MS. Not necessarily in that order. Out On a Limb. Summer Solstice in Seattle. We celebrated the summer solstice by going to Costco for dog food. In previous years we took in the Fremont Solstice Parade.
