In 1979, I became chairman of my Church's. Christmas Bazaar. From that experience, I became interested in counted cross-stitch, paper folding, clothespin ornaments, and many other handcrafts. As the years have gone by, my interests became more focused on knitting. A friend convinced me to show my work to a local consignment shop, Art to Wear, on North Street in Fairfax, Virginia.
