Ed Kademan's Blog. March 31, 2008. I just discovered and read the book, Flesh and Machines. Published in 2002 and written by Rodney Brooks the famous robotics and artificial intelligence expert. It recounts for the general reader the history of robotics, the possible ways it will develop in the future and the implications that that will have for society. The book is remarkable for being subversive in an understated level-headed way, sort of like Brooks’ other, technological creations. Vol II, No. 8.
