Provide food directly to people in need. Serve clients in Pembroke, Petawawa and outlying areas. Provide food orders designed to provide meals for approximately 3 days. Clients may come once per month. Clients may come between monthly visits for bread and milk. Orders consist of non-perishable items such as canned soup, tuna, fruit, and may also include: frozen ground beef, eggs, milk, bread, margarine, potatoes and fresh fruit. We supply baby food, diapers and lunches for school-aged children.

We begin planning for our Christmas basket program in November each year. Anyone who would like to apply for a Christmas Basket should contact the Food Bank early in November. Telephone 613-732-3807 for instructions on how to apply or come into the Food Bank any Monday between 10 am and 1pm during November. St Joseph's Food Bank supplies food to people in need, on an emergency basis. The food bank serves the residents of Pembroke, Petawawa and immediate area. If you live in Eganville, Cobden, Deep River, Killaloe, or Barry's Bay, please see the information for Other Food Banks. You are encouraged NOT. To use the food bank more than once per month. Every visit you are required to show:. Personal identification, such as a driver's licence. Proof of housing costs. ID for your dependent children.
