The Lou Dungate identity is rooted in the brand's passion for hand craft. Taking inspiration from the nature of knitting we developed a bespoke monogram mark that brings a contemporary allure to an otherwise heritage branding device. In application, the mark utilises the combination of emboss (raised/weave) and deboss (sunken/weft) to further ground the concept to the nature of knitting. This connectivity is further represented by a contemporary monogram device used in conjunction with the halves system.
