Joyful Discoveries: July 2011
http://joyfuldiscoveries.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 25, 2011. The Doors Are Off! All the cupboard doors and drawer fronts are off! Now the work begins. I piled them up in the new addition so I could work on them in a covered space and not have to move anything for a week or two. The paint product I am using is Cover Satin an oil based product that should cover all the wood nicely. Step 1. Take doors and drawer fronts off. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Needless to say the young man was getting anxious and asking when I was going to build his bed. So happy to have this done for him. Lesson learned: Don't stain and poly during the winter season, even if you think you are relatively well ventilated with a few windows open in the basement! The last of this job will have to wait until spring). Simply taken up too much space. Monda...

Joyful Discoveries: August 2010
http://joyfuldiscoveries.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 24, 2010. TO with the boys. Our trip began with a train ride. It was a first time experience for all of the kids. And after the initial excitement and awe. Everyone settled in for our long trip to TO. Our arrival was another thing. Everyone had their own luggage with one momma duck. In front and one at end, making sure all those little ducklings were safe. Friday, August 13, 2010. Loving that they are finally built. I added supports to the shelves. They are very strong! How do I paint it?
