From Shinjuku directly to the airport and I’ll be leaving tonight around 7 PM and arriving in Canada today at 11:45 am, half a day before I technically left 😀. I’ve never really had to deal with jet lag, so we’ll see how this goes.

Adventures in Learning Japanese: June 2009
http://korynthius.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Adventures in Learning Japanese. One man's Quest for Japanese Fluency. Saturday, June 20, 2009. Well I am finally finished with my internet/computer/time troubles. It took a few months but I am back in the habit and here to stay. Studying a language for fun while working full time and having young kids is somewhat crazy but hey, I love it :D. I will also update my books used soon, I ordered some dictionaries of japanese grammar by the Japan Times. GOOD STUFF. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Adventures in Learning Japanese: March 2011
http://korynthius.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Adventures in Learning Japanese. One man's Quest for Japanese Fluency. Tuesday, March 1, 2011. The corrections are done on a line by line basis. Usually you will get multiple people correcting your Japanese, and you can pick the corrections that make the mot sense to you, if there are more than one. Corrections usually come VERY quickly due to the amount of people using the recent post feed! I've done 2 posts so far and continue to do more! So go forth, and BE CORRECTED! Adventures in Learning Japanese: Progress
http://korynthius.blogspot.com/2010/12/progress.html
Adventures in Learning Japanese. One man's Quest for Japanese Fluency. Tuesday, December 14, 2010. I have "Mastered" Japanese Core 2000 steps 1 and 2 on smart.fm. This apparently covers all of their beginner level material. I started step 3 and BOY is it a huge leap, no wonder they call it intermediate. I've seen comments that step 4 is easier, perhaps I will do that one alongside it. Now I can enter this all into anki and slowly work through the newer, harder stuff. December 16, 2010 at 4:23 PM. An Inte...

Adventures in Learning Japanese: Anki Changes
http://korynthius.blogspot.com/2011/02/anki-changes.html
Adventures in Learning Japanese. One man's Quest for Japanese Fluency. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. I've now entered the era of the smartphone and have seen first hand how useful these really are! I have a few apps great for studying, the number one being AnkiDroid ( for Android OS of course ). Seeing as how I've been averaging 30 minutes on this deck a day, I could have done the "same" in 5 minutes? Now I see why people stop wasting their time writing all their reviews! Reviewing on the go! DONE Now the...
