http://communingwithfabric.blogspot.com/2015_05_14_archive.html
Just another blog from a red haired, 50-something, uber busty, slim hipped, funky lovin' sewist! To reach me, email toofunny2 at gmail dot com. Thursday, May 14, 2015. Gwen's Studio, Corvallis Fiber Arts Guild, Rain Shed. Just arrived at DD1's house. She is wearing a tee that is very apt. It says, "Ways to make me happy: Buy me food, Make me food, BE food.". Corvallis Fiber Arts Guild. My last post described a visit I recently made to Portland. You might recognize Gwen's name from Marcy Tilton's blog.

A Sewing Life: Burda 7734 Hooded Sweatshirt in Fleece
http://asewinglife.blogspot.com/2014/11/burda-7734-hooded-sweatshirt-in-fleece.html
Monday, November 10, 2014. Burda 7734 Hooded Sweatshirt in Fleece. My son has never been a great one for posing for photos, but I think he's getting less cooperative as the birthdays go by. Here he is in his mom-made 15th birthday present, a fleece hoodie. Online reviews indicated that this sweater runs small and short, so I made the next-to-largest men's size, a 42. It looked very large while I was working on it, but it seems like a pretty good fit on a rapidly-growing teenage boy. You can't see it in t...

The Clean Corner of My Desk: Tasty Asian Culture
http://thecleancornerofmydesk.blogspot.com/2013/02/tasty-asian-culture.html
Tuesday, February 12, 2013. I don't know if you realized, but this week has quite a few holidays! Mardi Gras does always proceed Ash Wednesday (or the first day of Lent), but they don't usually land on the same week as the Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day! Today I got the opportunity to make some Thai Tea with Boba! Following a recommendation from a friend's blog. I promptly ordered some Tapioca Pearls and large straws from Amazon! Delicious Thai Tea with Bubbles! It's fun to be festive! Simple templat...

The Clean Corner of My Desk: My November Fabric Challenge
http://thecleancornerofmydesk.blogspot.com/2014/10/my-november-fabric-challenge.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. My November Fabric Challenge. The leaves are changing, it's getting noticeably colder outside, and all of the coffee places have specials on pumpkin spice lattes. It must be fall, and with fall comes November and all sorts of wonderful challenges. My sister Devynn, has participated in NaNoWriMo for probably the last three or four years (and actually succeeded! This year, I've decided to try something different for November. Here is to a productive November! Posts of the Past.

The Clean Corner of My Desk: July 2011
http://thecleancornerofmydesk.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 6, 2011. I think that these shoes might be perfect for the tomboy-type of girl. I can't believe how many different color ways and styles are offered in this high-heeled shoe. Definitely on my need to buy list! Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Today at work, I was helping a lady with her fabric and her phone rang. Her ringtone was an SS501 song that just happened to be the theme song of the Korean drama I watched earlier this summer called "Boys Before Flowers." I was SO excited! And here is a photo...

The Clean Corner of My Desk: Lord of the Silent
http://thecleancornerofmydesk.blogspot.com/2013/07/lord-of-silent.html
Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Lord of the Silent. Amon-Re is the Lord of the Silent. Who is Amon-Re? He is the Ancient Egyptian god of the Sun, and a beautiful golden artifact found by the amazing Amelia Peabody Emerson in my most recently completed book. This post is mostly an update on what's going on in my life, as I have not been very consistent in my blogging (If you happen to have a twitter account, I've been slightly more consistent in getting tweets. Done, made, or acquired by stealth. You are probab...

Monday, February 14, 2011. Shadowless Sword and Chocolate. It's been a while since I've posted anything related to Martial Arts, and to relax a few weeks ago, I watched some martial arts films we've had lying around. Lucky for me Devynn is always up for watching some action movies:). The first one I watched is called : Legend of the Shadowless Sword. The second movie I watched is called Chocolate. This movie comes from the same people who did the movie Ong Bak. I loved this one! Sunday, February 13, 2011.
