one world one art: February 2010
http://oneworldoneart.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
One world one art. All art, all places, all people. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. One of the things we love about New York is that it's one of the few places in the world where you can hear music wafting up from grates below your feet. Here's a sampling of what's going on underground. Beatboxing flute player Greg Pattillo and Cello player Eric Stephenson at Union Square subway station. A taste of Mexico on the train. The Elianto Quintet, Times Square Station. One world one art. Monday, February 22, 2010.

http://troubledstriker.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 5 September 2012. Sorry there's been so little action on here recently. Seems like everything happens in the same fortnight about this time of year, festivals, last-ever shows, birthdays. blah blah blah. Anyway, next weekend I am completely honoured to be reading at the CBTR/Faber Social. Stage at Festival No.6. I'll be co-hosting a 45 minute poetry slot with John Barlow, a fellow CBTR. Poet and I think it's going to be great, so hopefully see you there. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

TROUBLED STRIKER: What do They Know of Michael Johnson...
http://troubledstriker.blogspot.com/2013/01/what-do-they-know-of-michael-johnson.html
Wednesday, 16 January 2013. What do They Know of Michael Johnson. Perhaps it is an indictment of what football, or more pertinently footballers, have become that when I read about Michael Johnson in the press yesterday, about how he has "squandered" his career, his life, his gift (NO, NOT HIS GOD-GIVEN GIFT, FOR CRISSAKES! Would be a good start. Means that here was a kid who actually had. Why can we not take a more philosophical view? My point is not really about the player. I want journalists to stop pr...

TROUBLED STRIKER: The first day of the rest of our life...
http://troubledstriker.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-first-day-of-rest-of-our-life.html
Tuesday, 15 January 2013. The first day of the rest of our life. This is where so many people's reactions today appear confused and muddled. Firstly they are conflating commerce and culture. HMV was a huge, faceless corporate chain. It was Costa, Tesco, Superdrug. I can just about understand the nostalgia people feel about small, independent shops. I love book shops, comic shops, little craft shops and record shops. But they are just shops. SOME PUBS I LIKE. Ye Olde Reindeer Inn, Banbury.

TROUBLED STRIKER: Illustrated Ape...
http://troubledstriker.blogspot.com/2012/12/illustrated-ape.html
Friday, 7 December 2012. I have a poem in the new issue of the much-lauded Illustrated Ape. Magazine which came out yesterday. There was a little launch in Orbital Comics. With whiskey and some of the art on the walls. It's a great object, full of wit and ideas and brilliant drawings and I'm honoured to be a part of it. Thank you, Christian. SOME PUBS I LIKE. Ye Olde Reindeer Inn, Banbury. The Old Swan at Swanbottom. Star And Garter in Soho. SOME WRITERS I LIKE. An Interview With Robert Rubbish.
