able-bodied girl: new horizons, new toothpaste
http://ablebodiedgirl.blogspot.com/2012/09/new-horizons-new-toothpaste.html
An able-bodied clean hippie. Sunday, September 16, 2012. New horizons, new toothpaste. I abandoned you this summer, dear blog, didn't I? Rather than being too busy to think, I've had plenty on my mind and plenty to say. Plenty of moments, lost in thoughts, lost in concerns, lost and looking for an outlet. Alas, it hasn't really been fit for public consumption. Rightly so. Anyway, it is time for some items of note to be published. I'm so excited to see that project flourish and continue on :). A simple mi...

able-bodied girl: April 2012
http://ablebodiedgirl.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
An able-bodied clean hippie. Monday, April 30, 2012. Food coma: vacation to home. We were on a cruise a couple of weeks ago. You know. unlimited food at all hours? Well, we did not too too bad with the eating, and we managed to make 95% of our cruise only using the stairs (we were on deck 11, the buffets and sundecks were 12 , and most of the food and bars and fun stuff were on decks 5/6). I also jogged three mornings (got up to 2 miles, and forgot how much I loved jogging! 65279; . Cheese: St Andre T...

able-bodied girl: July 2011
http://ablebodiedgirl.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
An able-bodied clean hippie. Sunday, July 31, 2011. Where does the time go? Looks like summer is getting away from me. 3 weeks since my last post? W ell, I'll forgive myself if you will. Between the heat and Able-Bodied Boy's relentless traveling and a just-flop-when-I-get-home mentality. well, you understand. Of course, I forget my camera when I go off and do exciting things, but here's a bit of what we've been up to. Mostly food, mind you ;). Beet hummus really is bright pink. and pretty damn tasty!

able-bodied girl: December 2011
http://ablebodiedgirl.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
An able-bodied clean hippie. Thursday, December 1, 2011. Tails of the turducken. Well, my family successfully survived two years of deep-fried turkey during my two years of hosting, so my father decided we would be ambitious and try making a Turducken. For my parent's turn at hosting this year. Ahh, yes, layer upon layer of MEAT. Yum! My brother and I were set to task with boning the duck and chicken, respectively. Our first hurdle was the realization that my father didn't actually own. How was your Than...

http://ablebodiedgirl.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
An able-bodied clean hippie. Monday, July 30, 2012. And here we go again. What is it about summer that makes it impossible for me to post regularly? I visited Barnhenge Mama (and her adorable new Boob Monster) yesterday, taking a moment to breathe and enjoy. Florence and the Machine were the soundtrack of my day, pulling at the depths of my soul to rip the music lover out of hiding, watching a spontaneous dance by a whimsical pre-schooler. A beautiful day to just try to BE. Of course, life has been happe...

Bent Tree Farm: June 2008
http://benttreefarm.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
This blog is about our family, homesteading, and hobby farming in North Idaho. Monday, June 30, 2008. We have another new addition. Saturday, June 28, 2008. Look what was born on the homestead this morning. Our 2 year old black lab was barking and wanted Daddy to come look at what he found and low and behold it was a new fawn. Just born, she couldn't even stand yet. How cool is that? Wednesday, June 25, 2008. The kids have become fish addicts. They fish most every afternoon and after dinner at the cr...
