In the (m)other tongue. Saturday, April 19, 2008. I think i am beginning to resent my neighbors. So much for community. Sunday, April 13, 2008. Just call me doctor. I recently began watching the show Dexter. On Netflix instant play, and damn I am so hooked. I am huge Six Feet Under fan, and Micheal C. Hall is fucking amazing in this show. His character and the show itself is so brilliantly fucked up that it practically turns me on. Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Sunday, April 6, 2008. Go home, feed kid leftover...

In the (m)other tongue. Tuesday, January 8, 2008. The IV pole and the tree in vermont. This story touched me, not only because of my father's current treatment, but because the anecdote really summed up the kind of public health professional that I want to be. Whatever kind of bad day I might be having. these always make me happy. Better than chocolate even. Stop by. I'll save you one! Better hurry though. :). Posted by The Fearless Knitter @ 10:54 AM. Did you have to post that right before my lunch of healthy veggie soup? I'd rather eat a whole tray of Rice Krispie Treats. Yum. I made crispies yesterday too! Kansas, United States.

rabid knitter: September 2006
http://rabidknitter.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Adventures of a crazy knitting fiend. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Somewhat oversized baby things. This hat is for my friends' baby who's due at the end of October. It's the Umbilical Cord Hat from Stitch 'n' Bitch. I substitituted the yarn and, since my gauge was slightly different, started with 72 stitches instead of 64 and added an extra decrease row. It was a very quick, easy knit - just what I needed! Sept 23, 2006. Sept 23, 2006. Umbilical Cord Hat from Stitch 'n' Bitch. US 8 circ (Addi Turbos).

Living the fiber life. Saturday, April 17, 2010. Knitted Wire "Scroll book" from the EMU international book exhibition. Once the sun starts to shine and the weather makes me dream of summer, the urge hits. "Neaten the nest" I say. This is when I realize that the clothes that I have been keeping in hopes that I might actually need them one day (when in reality I have not needed them for the past few years), frees my spirit to pack bags and mark them "donation.". Yes, and also a bit of family history.
