Day 56: Orland, ME to Bar Harbor, ME →. Day 55: Woolwich, ME, to Orland, ME. Today was another day of perfect weather, with many steep hills, just like yesterday. We had an early start, and we were trying to accomplish as many miles as possible so that we could reach Bar Harbor in time. Bays from the Atlantic. First view of the Atlantic!

Day 56: Orland, ME to Bar Harbor, ME. We made it to our final destination on the bike trip! 6AM on the last morning of the trip. Day 52: North Thetford, VT to Woodsville, NH →. Day 51: Leicester, VT to North Thetford, VT. Not much compared to the Rockies, but challenging nonetheless. Just after lunch, we stumbled upon a roadside diner with fantastic maple cremees! We were very happy to enjoy this treat again on the trip. Taken just before we left the next morning.

Author Archive for Eric Hardwick. One needs to have goals right? Training Day 4 & 5. Today was a very very hard run. Not in the terms of difficult terrain or lots of hills, speed work. Nope none of that. I was very hard to get up the motivation to run this morning. I got it done though. Another 3 mile run. Day 3 (Half Marathon Training). Signed Up….(switching gears). Two Rides same week! With all the running miles I’ve been putting in, I feel like it’s also helping my cycling. It’s been to long.
