Apparently, as part of the China Studies module that I will be taking in conjunction with the Overseas Immersion Programme, I'm supposed to start a blog in which I will post my thoughts and reflections of whatever I will be doing at Wuhan, China. Today was the first time in Wuchang that I perspired while walking at a normal speed. It seems as though Wuhan’s spring has only lasted 5 weeks, and it has turned to summer already. 42 days in Wuhan. Sunday, March 8, 2009. Without any kind of doubt, I was always going to be the first person to arrive at Terminal 1 of Changi Airport. I arrived at the airport at around 11pm on the night of the 2. The last highlight for today was probably the welcome dinner we had in a restaurant in campus. I have to say that the food was marvellous. It is just that I have to be wary of what I am eating, as some dishes contain pork which I cannot eat as a Muslim. Geography at it's best.
