So this is the new year. Saturday, October 20, 2007. Earthquakes and snakes and killer bees. My cat died, in front of my own eyes on my bed. it was extremely traumatic and i starting sobbing right away. clifford was my wonderful cat for 12 years, the longest we strannigans have ever kept a pet around. i hear him meowing at night now. he wasn't even sick, and i didn't see it coming. I think i found a hobo spider in our house. Thanks for reading this. i just sortof needed to complain for a little bit.

Here are a couple of things i have been thinking about tonight, as i sit bored out of my mind in the john g. mitchell library during missions conference week. 4 hours down, and 1 to go:. 2 beware of american weddings. i know, i know, i have 10 months. but the way people have been treating me, it's like i have 10 days. here is what i don't want:. Saturday, March 04, 2006. Some of you may have noticed that i deleted my last blog. sigh. i liked it too. but i was told that it could be potentially dangerous or something crazy like that. Anyhoo, this week has been insane. our speaker was Tom Polson and his lectures were on biblical world view. i have to say, he presented it in manner i had never heard before and it was incredibly rivetting. but now i am spent. all week we have been nothing but a bunch of crab-cakes. Sunday, December 17, 2006. In the bleak mid-winter. It's getting better. the electricity is back on today, which is a plus. i am avoiding going back to the house because everything in our fridge is rotten, and i know it needs to be cleaned. i really wish i had the new sufjan stevens christmas album, because then i would go home and sing really loud and hope the time passes quickly until Christmas. Friday, June 22, 2007. Its become so real. My life is a blur of goodbye and hello. And i am still not used to it. i don't think i ever will be. I knew when i chose this lifestyle, that it would be crazy, but still, nothing can fully prepare you for saying goodbye to the people who have become your family, over and over.
