No matter how many reports Hezekiah received, no matter how many threats, no matter what happened, Hezekiah trusted that God would come through for them. And he did. What about my trust when bad things happen? Sickness and recovery of Hezekiah. V1-8 Hezekiah sick. Isaiah promises 15 more years of life and a sign. V9-20 Hezekiah’s song of thanksgiving. The power of prayer to change things. God , please help me not to have any unnecessary treatment.

The contrasts between the two halves are amazing- the people with God/the people without God. i.e. the church/the world. Why do we still have such a hard time choosing? This blessing of free will is also our curse, and the more " democracy". We get the harder we are. Come near, you nations, and listen; pay attention.

Thursday, July 12, 2007. 聯想起幾年前教會的風暴中, 不少教會領導人都曾遭弟兄姊妹面對面或內心里的指責, 在神的幫助之下, 我們学習亙相寬恕赦免, 但是自問, 我有沒有去 安慰. 沒有 經文說, 若我們這樣做, 可以鼓勵到他們, 免得他們憂愁太過, 甚至沉淪。我們要互相體諒, 神的愛和香氣才能藉我們在各處散發。 1 若果能夠時常悔改, 在神面前有一顆潔淨的心, 便可以見到神的榮光, 那榮光也不會退去。 2 十誡刻在心, 而不是行為上, 潘太不用什麽推薦信, 因為神的十誡刻在心中, 自然在行為上就發出門徒的光來, 她自稱雖不是一个主動的人,但是藉着神的幫助, 神用她服待的才能, 上星期親身煑了一頓美味的蠔烙給在癌病中的蕭太吃。今天潘太喜悅的心情, 不能用筆墨可形容, 正如經上說” 施比受更為有福。”.
