Thursday afternoon we took on the task of sorting out all the fabric and organzing it in the new cupboards that Judy and Les picked up in Calgary and put together in the Bee Hive. We took out all the fabric and started to sort. We sure have alot of fabric. Sure looks nice after it is all done. Special Quilt for Eli Mutch. Eli is the son of Rob and Stacy Mutch. He is in Vancouver bravely fighting. Hopefully this quilt will keep him warm. We got our grant.

540 quilts and counting. Wednesday, May 5, 2010. We got our grant. It was written up in the Creston Valley Advance that we received our Columbia Basin Trust Grant from Area B. Thanks to Mr Kettle. We were able to get some new cabinets. Judy and Les found us a great deal while they were in Calgary. Two cabinets for the price of one. 540 quilts and counting. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. We all gathered on Thursday, started off finishing off bindings and labels to get thirty four quilts ready to go to the Alberta Children's Hospital. Betty was going to deliver t. Hem on Friday. It is amazing how you can start off with one or two and then the piles start to grow and grow. We are pretty close to the 600 mark.
