Pat's 1958 Morgan. Modifications and Upgrades: 1963 to 2015. Gilmer Belt – Water Pump Drive. NOTE: Clicking on an underlined word will access a Detailed Description. With 36 inch primaries, reinforced TR4 intake manifold, HS6 carbs with 5 inch diam. air horns. Uprated water pump with custom Gilmer Belt drive. Points ignition, Pertronix coil, remote Canton oil filter, Earl’s 10 row oil cooler, two quart Accusump with electric/pressure valve, and gear reduction starter. Of heavier material and zero KPI.

Were welded on the front of the chassis rails for additional support where the Front Frame is attached with AN bolts of proper grip length. Is mounted lower and slightly rearward from the stock the location. A Custom crossmember of 2x2x1/8 in. angle iron supports the front of the cell and the rear chassis crossmember supports the rear. 3 REAR MOTOR MOUNT. 4 A CUSTOM BRACKET. 6 The DRIVER’S SEAT. Pat's 1958 Morgan. Modifications and Upgrades: 1963 to 2015. Gilmer Belt – Water Pump Drive. This procedure was initially done during the 1970-71 Conversion to a Race Car, and again with the new Roll Bar Structure during the 1999-2003 Major Upgrade. The lower sketch shows the chassis attachment consisting of a bracket welded to the Roll Bar Structure and a fitting that allows both pivoting and a small degree of fore-aft compliance using shock absorber rubber mounts.
