http://mikartsfamily.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Hait is getting better? The hanger has taken a beating during all this time that supplies have been coming in. The floor of the hanger is in a word, trashed. I’m going to need some big help in getting it to look good, so a word to you volunteers out there, come on in and give me a hand! The situation down in Haiti is getting better. Instead of it being an intolerable mess, its now just a mess. Agape sent five 40’ containers only to have them held up so that the Haitian gove...

Mommunism - because families are not democracies. A commentary on family life from an overly practical mom. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Let it snow, but let us know. Remember when you were young, and you woke up and saw snow on the ground and you screamed you were so excited? Well, I woke up this morning, there was snow on the ground, and I screamed, but not because I was excited. I'm officially old. But alas, no. Can you play with me? And my personal favorite "Mommy! Thursday, October 18, 2012. The holidays have arrived! The summer zipped by and it’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Soon I will be dropping off boxes to be decorated by the kids in the preschool, I can’t wait to see all the colorful scenes of turkeys and pilgrims. Just imagine how well received they will be when they arrive in Haiti or the Dominican republic! We are already receiving confirmation letters from the missionaries. “Oh yes count me in! 8220;Oh yes,. For many , A...
