Improve facial expression recognition. Tinita Ortega, MS, CCC-SLP (ASHA certified to practice speech pathology and licensed to practice in Washington, DC and Maryland). Children with Asperger syndrome or high-functioning autism between the ages of 8 and 11 years. What will the study involve? 1 Eligibility assessment: no more than 1 hour in duration. 3 Three assessments of skills learned: to take place at 1 week and 2 weeks after therapeutic sessions are completed. What is the aim of the study?
