Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Most people know by now that the race did not go as planned. I trained for and expected to come close to a 3:30:00 finish. Let the countdown begin. On sunday the 13th, bama will participate in the running of the weiners in germantown, tn. as a family, we're very excited. we're mainly excited due to the large amount of laughter and entertainment that he will embody. we are hoping for a strong showing, but who knows with bama. here is a photo of the future weiner race champion:. Lessons Learned from my second trip:. 1 Wear Pants. World Record case of poison ivy. 2 Coffee on the trail is a great luxury. Not that he wasn't a nice guy and wouldn't have done a good job. I just thought the other two were much better cooks and much better on camera.
