Island Time in Abaco. Good Times in Abaco and Lubbers Quarters. Sunday, February 14, 2010. Hope Town on Elbow Cay, Abaco, in the out-islands of the northern Bahamas. Hope Town is a small, charming settlement located on Elbow Cay in the Abacos. The one room post office is housed upstairs in an old blue two story building at the end of the south public dock. There are no typical boxes for rent here - everything arrives in care of general delivery. St James Methodist Church. Offering dock side convenience.

Calypso on Google Earth. Fly from Florida (or sometimes Nassau) to Marsh Harbour. Take a taxi to the ferry dock or boat rental company. Take the ferry or rented boat to Elbow Cay. Meet the caretaker and ride to Calypso. Unless arriving by private boat, all travelers to Elbow Cay will land at the Marsh Harbour international airport, and most all will depart. Into A New Horizon. Thursday, May 21, 2015. After 15 days away, I am finally back home. My sutures have been removed, but the middle of the incision opened up so I have to be very careful about not getting dirt in it and getting another infection. I have to continue the antibiotic ointment until the wound is totally healed. It's great to be back and see all Dave has done and all the bushes and flower gardens are blooming! From now on, hopefully the blog posts will be more entertaining.

Into A New Horizon. Saturday, August 1, 2015. The Beginning or the End? Besides being out on the water with Moxie and the kayaks, we have also been visiting some land based attractions. It was super windy one afternoon and it usually blows right down the river making it quite rough. We headed out to Cape Vincent and the Tibbits Point Lighthouse.
