Monday, January 24, 2011. Let's begin with a sad story.I had to take my wedding rings off around week 30 because my feet began to swell to max capacity and I was worried my fingers might swell also. I've been pining to put them back on since I had the baby . I've tried 4 or 5 times with no luck. On Saturday I decided I would lotion up my hands and slip them on, no big deal! It hurt really bad so we eventually had to go to a local jeweler and get them cut off! I felt so stupid! Friday, January 14, 2011.

Tuesday, August 14, 2012. I can't believe the summer is almost over. I'm so sad! I've really enjoyed my time with Claire Bear this summer and I am so happy I made her my priority. I've grown so much closer with her and I'm thrilled with the growth she's had these past few months. I'm not going to lie, there was quite an adjustment period for me when I first stayed home but I'm so much happier because of it. We've been on some hikes. Built forts for FHE. Played in the park. Celebrated 4th of July.

Friday, June 29, 2012. No matter what I did that day I would get to hug and cuddle my baby until she drifted into dreamland. What else did I have to do that was more important? Nothing, I didn't have other kids to beg for my attention and I was just ready for "me" time, so I would sacrifice a bit of that time and spend it with my sweetie. Friday, April 29, 2011. The Life of Mr. Chunk: New Bouncer and 1st Easter. I know I probably shouldn't call him that, but woah. He's just getting so chunky! We headed to the Dr. this week (he had an allergic reaction to a medication I was taking. booooo. And he weighed in at a whopping 12 pounds, 7 ounces! So in just over 2 weeks, he gained 3 pounds, 5 ounces. Wha. We finally got Mace a bouncer! Have I mentioned before how much I love Amazon? I hate to admit it, but his first Easter was preeeeeetty.

Wednesday, August 17, 2011. While I was in Colorado for a few weeks, we gave Mace cereal for the first time! He LOVED it. No 'ick' faces and no gagging. Just lots and lots of lunging toward the spoon. He actually started crying when I didn't get another spoonful fast enough. He did such a good job. He is a very impressive little one. Monday, July 25, 2011. I really can't describe how excited I was for this day. It wasn't just any game, it was a BRAVES game! We got him a ridiculously cute outfit to wear for it too! If only they made it for adults.oh well. We had such a good time! Our seats were fabulous - in the shade the entire time! Mace loves to be outside, so it made the game really easy! He tried to sleep a few times but the music/crowd kept waking him up. Luckily that didn't upset him too much! The First of Many "Firsts" Posts.
