Hazards: Where Adventure Begins: April 2015

Sunday, April 26, 2015. Hazardous Spring Break 2015. For several months now, I've had Spring Break 2015 planned out in my head. We were going to go to Portland to visit Tyson's sister, do a bunch of stuff on the west coast, possibly go up to Seattle and even British Colombia if we pulled ourselves together and got our two youngest kids' passports on time. I told this to Tyson in January-February-ish. I don't think he liked my plan. Taking off, about 11:20 AM. Happy at the moment. I was not brave enough t...

Hazards: Where Adventure Begins: Launching for Europe
http://hazaii.blogspot.com/2015/06/launching-for-europe.html
Thursday, June 11, 2015. I'm so stoked to be vacationing with my brothers and parents! For some people, that wouldn't be fun, but my family is just awesome! And somewhere I fit in- not sure where, but mostly I get to sit back and enjoy the humorous dynamics of my family :). When we arrived at the SLC airport, my mom realized that she had left her carry-on home. She had her passport and some other things, but her clothes, her "essential make-up! Etc, etc. were still in the suitcase on the kitchen tabl...

Sunday, January 4, 2015. Late last night we pulled into our driveway. Once again we were somehow locked out- both of the keys we had unlocked only the deadbolt but not the lock on the doorknob. Thankfully, Tyson was able to get in through a window, so we didn't have to sleep in our yard in a foot of snow. This was posted by. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). OUR FAMILY and FRIENDS. Sunday, August 31, 2014. A Day of Firsts. Me: Jeffrey, you wore that shirt last year on your birthday. Don't you want to wear a different one? Jeffrey: No, mom. I still like it. Me: Could you change into a different one for your picture? Jeffrey: No. I still like it. It can be the same. This week we celebrated Jeffrey's sixth birthday. It's still unreal. My six year old! Jeffrey's picture on his door of what he wanted for his birthday. Not at all excited, right? And then I had to squash two kids in my st...

Hazards: Where Adventure Begins: December 2013
http://hazaii.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Overall, I wanted to be more consistent and happy in 2013, and I feel I really accomplished that- the goals I did do I worked at a steady pace and finished recently (or today), but without any huge, last-minute-crunch. For example, as a family we wanted to read the Book of Mormon together, and today we read Moroni 10 and finished ;). Read the Book of Mormon as a Family- read together DAILY-. While there were a few days we missed, by and large we made this goal. 12-Planning Mee...

Hazards: Where Adventure Begins: February 2014
http://hazaii.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 28, 2014. I typed this up the end of February, but never published it. Here it is. . .unfinished. I've kept up going to the Temple, trying to get as many family names done as possible. While doing family history I've come across some classic names:. Ruhunah E (I finally figured out that for her adult life she went by Elizabeth or Lizzy R, which is why no one could find her husband or kids forever. Go figure, I guess she didn't like Ruhunah either). Susie Cilley (say it out loud). This we...

We camped nearby the permit office the night before so we could. Get there right at 8AM. These pictures are from Day 1:. Xi was super happy almost the entire 3 days ;). Tyson's dad couldn't handle carrying Xi with a backpack, so Tyson ended up with triple duty that day-. A pack, Xi, AND Jacob. His shoulders were sore! This was posted by. Brand...
