That we live in an age when unnecessary things are our only necessities.Oscar Wilde. Monday, August 21, 2006. Though I have not been particular about retaining my anonymity, in the last few months, I have felt the need to retreat back into that shell. My Funny Clementine: February 2005

http://abibliophobia.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html

That we live in an age when unnecessary things are our only necessities.Oscar Wilde. Monday, February 28, 2005. One week - two plays. 1 Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues (Directed by Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal) - an education (for some) and wrenching (for many). Unashmedly I enjoyed this play. And I say unashamedly because many a man next to me squirmed uncomfortably when we were asked to say the v-word out loud and all the times when 'vagina' was repeatedly yodelled on stage. Yippee! 2 Mis sing People.

My Funny Clementine: November 2004

http://abibliophobia.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html

That we live in an age when unnecessary things are our only necessities.Oscar Wilde. Tuesday, November 30, 2004. A jar of Swiss chocolate. A yearn of cheese, bread and crunchy tomato. I snuck a glance at the little clock. Playing peekaboo on my monitor. Time to feed my various hungers. With a long afternoon just finishing after my team mate and I expounded on the trivilialities of life, marriage, friendship and yaddah, I knew it was time for the third meal of the day - an evening snack. Waiting on wooden...

Its all about the food. It is to me and lot of ma frens. Not sure if I will have recipes but I have tons of thing I love to say about food and this will be da place! Wednesday, February 08, 2006. I love jams and preserves and conserves. Especially when they are interesting combinations. My most unusual, so far, has been thinly sliced 'baingan' which left a slight sweet aftertaste (had in Roti, an erstwhile Narang chain in Mumbai) and a yumm mutton pickle had in coffee estates in Coorg. But the bottle and...

Cant wait to replicate and spice it up a bit. A great dish btw for those one dish meal especially for one single person.
