A Bloke in Kenya. Thoughts and observations of a bloke living in Kenya. Taking Risks in Townships. On the 13th November, headlines. Announced the death in an apparent carjacking of a honeymooning bride in the 'township' of Gugulethu. No idea on that, but it does seem that the murder had nothing to do with the location - except as cover perhaps, so the story doesn't really tell us how dangerous Gugulethu is. A Day of Disappointment in England, but something a little more serious elsewhere. Not a good sign...

I can honestly say pressure isn't something that gets to me really - I'm not the type of person who finds themselves stressed out or on the edge of buckling under it anyway. And that's not to say that I don't experience it, I do quite often, especially with the job that I do. But I really do think I'm just too laid back and would much rather take everything in my stride than worry. And I also have to meet, greet and sometimes sweet-talk some of our potential customers.
