Although Madelyn won't remember the day, it is such a great time to remember the last 365 days and how much she has changed. Sunday, July 28. Baby Girl Update - 39 weeks. It’s been a stressful week in the Bloomer household, but we are closer to meeting our baby girl! When the doctor checked me on week 36 and 37, I wasn’t having too much progress. I had Jack at 37.5 weeks and hadn’t had too much progress previously so it didn’t bother me too much, but the Dr. also couldn’t feel the head. Monday, December 30. Madelyn - 5 months. I'd have to say these have been some of the best 5 months of my life enjoying my two babies. Sleep has been a little bit tricky recently. Just like last month, you are still getting used to rolling and then waking up and not being able to flip back over. You prefer to sleep on your side or stomach so this happens often. Tuesday, March 4. Madelyn made her first trip to Texas in February to meet so many family and friends! I made the solo flight with the kids and everything went smoothly on the way there (the way back was a WAY different story). Tuesday, December 31, 2013. I decided I was just going to let everyone pick whatever they wanted to be this year, and be ok with it. And that's what I did. As fun as I think it is to do some sort of theme or something, it just doesn't work for us most years. Weston of course wanted to be a super hero. And Hulk was his choice this year. That was easy. And that was that for the costumes this year. I missed out on the trunk-or-treat because I was in Chicago, but they all got there and in one piece.

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. I got to go on a trip back in October without my kids and without my husband for the first time in a LONG time. It was long overdue. And I had so much fun! Me and my mom took a long weekend and went to visit my younger brother who recently moved to Chicago. I had never been there before and had heard great things about it. On the plane. by myself.
