Monday, May 23, 2011. I ran my first half marathon yesterday! I can't believe I did it! I never thought in a million years, I would be able to run 13.1 miles at one time and still be walking! The Ogden half marathon was really awesome! I liked the course because it was slightly downhill most the way. It started in Eden, runs around Pineview Reservoir, down Ogden Canyon, and ends on 25th street. BEAUTIFUL! Here's a toast to my 1st half marathon! Ogden did me proud! I had the table all set and was ready to make noodles (her favorite it thought) when all of a sudden. HOW ABOUT SUSHI! She had a request and dad filled it for her! Less dishes for me too! Wednesday, July 6, 2011. 4th of July.Star Valley. We went and celebrated the 4th of July in Star Valley Wyoming. My brother in law has a HUGE cabin that could fit my entire side of the family. It was nice to be able to have our own room and still be able to hang out with everyone. We saw a sweet parade (what's the 4th of July without a parade? Ummmwe had a little paint fight. Ma and Pa Bott. Friday, December 2, 2011. The wind blew.and the trees fell. Over 30 trees fell in the Bountiful Cemetery. Two large pines in Sonia's backyard were just laid over like toothpicks! What a crazy storm! 100 mph winds. So much damage done in Bountiful and Centerville. Power was out in some places for up to 24 hours. 15 hours at our house. We are so grateful it wasn't alot worse.
