John Guandolo attended the U.S. Naval Academy and earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering before joining the Marines, initially deployed as an Infantry Platoon Commander during the Desert Storm operation. For Desert Shield, Mr. Guandolo functioned as the Platoon Commander, Assistant Operations Officer, and the Airborne and Diving Officer for the 2d Force Reconnaissance Company.
