About Eduardo Kac: A Bio Artist. This work is considered bio art because Kac inserted the GFP gene, taken from a jellyfish, into the rabbit’s genetic code. The GFP gene causes Alba to glow green under certain blue lights. There are three phases to this work. The introduction of the GFP bunny, getting Alba back and free, and then once she is free integrated her into the environment.
