The Dissector: July 2014
http://thedissector.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 17, 2014. You thought I was gone. Almost one year after my last post, I'm back again! Just a couple of small dissections, first up:. Rogue's powers have never worked that way. She doesn't share powers, she copies them. And even if she shared them, that would leave Psylocke with less power, not feeling the strain of Rogue's use of the telekinesis. And "generating" TK? From X-Men V4 #4, writer Brian Wood.). Next one (and last one for now, don't know if it'll be another year):. Spider-Bob's C...

The Dissector: March 2012

Monday, March 19, 2012. Ruining Other People's Work. I'm back, and I'm not a happy camper. Yes, I have a month and a half worth of mostly cool moments, since I'm more mellow these days when it comes to actual dissections. But there's something I couldn't let pass. What the hell is wrong with Marvel's production crew? This is shameful, it's showing what amounts to no respect for a person's work! Sorry for the rant, but I just had to let it out. Saturday, February 14, 2015. I'm on a roll! Don't get used to it. So, I'm not even going to check handbooks or wikis for this, and, based on the previous panels, they're standing on even ground. but there's no fucking way Sunspot is the same height as Thor. Also, it kinda looks like Berto is about to kiss the Odinson. From Avengers V5 #36, artist Stefano Caselli.). Posted by MaGnUs von Tesla. Two posts in about a week? Again With the Comics: Comics' Numerical Nightmare
http://www.againwiththecomics.com/2008/03/fun-with-numbers.html
Again With the Comics. Thursday, March 20, 2008. I was reminded today of something that both annoys the hell out of me, and which cannot ever really be fixed. After nearly two decades of reboots, restarts, and relaunches, there are precious few comics left that have kept their original numbering. It used to be a good. Restarted at #1 and the old Superman series numbering continued with Adventures of Superman. 424 Adventures of Superman went on for almost two decades, and only recently reverted to Superman.

Under The Gun: In The Beginning....
http://imunderthegun.blogspot.com/2008/05/in-beginning.html
Friday, 30 May 2008. In the beginning were a few words about myself and this blog. . I'll start with a warning that I aim to be a poker blogger, who reviews Western media (Western as in Clint Eastwood, Cowboys etc. not Western as in Great Satan scourge of the arabic peoples) and maybe some Ulysses 31 as well. I'm sticking to micro stakes Omaha H/L at the moment. I refuse to simply reload my account. This is my personal challenge: . Take that $10 and run it as far as I can. . The Law Around These Parts.

Under The Gun: September 2008
http://imunderthegun.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, 21 September 2008. Long Time No Post. Well I've been on the micro-stakes roller-coaster. Finally ground my way up to the holy grail of $20, then dropped back down to $10 on a combination of 2 cent/5 cent, tilt and red wine. So back to square one. Haven't been inspired with the westerns recently, but I picked up KenzerCo's Aces and Eights pen and paper RPG the other day so maybe something on that soon. However I have been playing with poetry and churned out this recently:-. So then I made a new one.
