January 2, 2008. Our group of 16 will be spending three Shabbats in Israel. This Shabbat is in Ramat Beit Shemesh, a community about one hour outside of Jerusalem. For the Shabbat weekend (Friday and Saturday), we are split up into small groups and assigned to families where we’ll sleep and eat and study the Torah portion of the week. Nate and Blair have a moment at the end where they both seem overwhelmed by all the changes/unexpected turns in their ridiculous lives. I don't like change and I miss being around people. The only ones I see on a somewhat regular basis are my brother and V, everyone else seems to be drifting away. And there still are no candidates for BNF 2009. I need to fix this. No more German Fairy Tales or Acting class, at least for now. I'll try to fit in a dance class somewhere along the way. Fall for Dance is right around the corner. I'm thinking the next (Cheesy) potluck will be awesome, the last few themes (Tofu, Queens, Wizard of Oz) have been slightly off. Also looking forward to Omnivore New York.
