A Canadian Mom's Journey. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Saturday April 30th-Traci is in Nicaragua as I write this! I slept a lot today. I am not feeling well. I am sure Wednesday and Friday are contributing muchly to how I am feeling. Doing too much and too much stress! What I have eaten today:. 1 sausage breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and a hash brown. 1 smoothie with frozen fruit, yogurt, milk, 1 egg, bananas and strawberries. No real dinner.grabbing a few things. 3 cups of coffee with flavoured creamer.

A Canadian Mom's Journey. Monday, February 28, 2011. First time out with my walker today by myself! Well I did it! And maybe I overdid it! I went downtown on the bus today, did some shopping and bussed it home again. All by myself. I felt awesome and safe an. And it was exhilarating. I actually mapped the distance and I walked more than 2 kms, plus the walking around the mall I did. Then I went out with my friend as I do most Monday nights and I walked some more! A Canadian Mom's Journey. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. My aunt came to visit me from Toronto on Tuesday and she treated me to lunch. We had a good time! She got stuck in BAD traffic on the QEW so we had less time together that we thought we would have. She dropped me off downtown on her way out of the city and I walked King/Bay to Main/Wellington 1.4 kms. PS Wasn't that a brutal hockey game on Monday night? I hope Vancouver got all of that out of their system. What I have eaten today:. Stairs-2 sets each time.

A Canadian Mom's Journey. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. It is nice to be home today! There really is no place like home! Sorry for such a lame post tonight. What I have eaten today:. 1 bowl of Oatmeal Crisp cereal. No lunch. :(. I was out and about running errands. Before I realized I was hungry, I was making dinner! Stir fry with rice with BBQ chicken and veggies. 3 cups of coffee with flavoured creamer. Leg extensions-At least 2 sets per day, 10 reps each leg. Bridges-At least 2 sets per day, 5 reps.

I really enjoyed my time there and took advantage of the summer evenings to explore the city. It has an interesting history and there is a lot of cool architecture there. Here are a few shots.
