Accessing the Countryside is a partnership between East Sussex County Council in England and Provincie West-Vlaanderen, Westtoer and Regionaal Landschap West-Vlaamse Heuvels in Flanders. Our organisations have come together to share their expertise and experience in countryside management and conservation. This is a unique opportunity for us to jointly look at ways we can open up countryside sites and paths to a range of different users so that local communities and tourists can benefit from them.

One of the aims of the project is to help tourists and local people access the countryside independently. The partnership has set up two tools to help you get out into the countryside:.
