From sea to shining sea, I included a little bit of where we are both from and where we had been. A great table topper is large punched confetti out of colored paper. It's also fun to include in letters or packages - a more appreciated element of surprise than actual small confetti, even though that is funny to do. A touch of class.

Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Image from DesignSpongeOnline.com. Nothing beats fresh herbs when cooking at home. And nothing is more readily accessible in my recycling bin than tin cans, (except for maybe wine bottles.because of all the people we entertain). My roommate and I have successfully planted a tin cab herb garden. Of our own which now boasts a huge amount of fresh (and free) basil, thyme, and rosemary.
