CLICK HERE FOR BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Monday, May 11, 2009. Just wanted to share a few pics from our trip to St. John / St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands) a couple weeks ago. We had been looking forward to our Caribbean getaway for a long time and we weren't disappointed. We had such a great time! There was plenty to do and see, but it was also one of our first vacations together where we didn't feel like we had to be going non-stop to see everything. We were really able to relax which was great.

So as everyone knows from the previous blog and/or facebook pics i got a tattoo yesterday. its actually shocking when i look at my wrist and think that it is there for forever. good thing it is beautiful. thanks to derek. I GOT A JOB TODAY! 160;anyways, after 2 interviews and another session today, they offered me the job. it is actually a slightly different job than what i applied for. i will be the lead coordinator for the adolescent parenting program (app). . Lately i just keep thinking about how terrible we are at blogging, but then i remember how crazy our lives are and that blogging just doesn't fit in right now. so, sorry if you are daily disappointed. Friday we closed on our house and it snowed. derek says it always snows on important days in our lives (remember april 7th, 24 degrees and snow? 160;they are fabulous and jesus is taking care of us. We still had to go to work of course, but we got to go in a little late at least. Here are a couple of pictures I snapped last night. This was probably one of the worst weeks i have ever had. there has just been so much sadness in my heart surrounded by multiple disappointments. by friday i was at the end of myself wondering if anyone really cared, especially Jesus. On friday derek went to pick up our jeep that was in the shop and when he went to pay for it, the guy said that it had already been paid for. amazing. my dad is amazing. and sneaky. Our Home on the Web. We have a crawler! Bryant has been almost crawling for the past few weeks (scooting backward, sideways, mini scoots, etc.), but he hadn’t made any real forward progress until tonight. We had tried to entice him with different toys, but who knew that the best motivation would be an iPod just out of reach. Guess he’s going to be a gadget guy just like his Daddy. :). Our Home on the Web. It’s hard to believe Bryant is 9 months old already. Seems like before we turn around twice we’ll be celebrating his first birthday — CRAZY! At 9 months, Bryant is crawling all over the place (very quickly! As far as meal times go, Bryant is now feeding himself about half the time. For the most part he really enjoys finger foods. His favorites are sweet potato fries, scrambled eggs, toast, bananas, and cheerios. We’ve also been giving him peas, pasta, and little pie...Next post →.
