Found another great little beach/fishing town down the coast at Carolina Beach where we hung on Gibby’s Dock and enjoyed cheap fresh seafood. Thinking of you all and hope you are well. Janet and Barry aboard Kairos. January 28, 2015. After waiting in Nassau for several days, we made the crossing to the Exuma chain landing at Allen’s Cay, the home of the Bahama Iguana. We have started our trip down the chain and are having an absolute blast. Here are a few photos. Janet’s first fish. Barracuda! Apparently these guys like fingers better than celery. Janet and Barry aboard Kairos. January 16, 2015. The crossing was a little messy at first out the inlet, but if continued to settle overnight. By the early morning we had pretty calm seas and a beautiful moon. Arrival at the entrance to Lucaya harbor was perfect as the sun was coming up. First order of business was a swim in that GIN-CLEAR water and boy was it great. So we’re here and having a ball. Enjoy the photos. Savannah family and friends celebrating the holiday.
