The section that you can see snaking up the mountain behind us is only about one third of what we climbed, the rest is not visible from the bottom. Monday, February 22, 2010. Snow sculptures - Sun Island Park. Sun Island is a large park on the outskirts of Harbin. There is a small lake and lots of nice areas for walking and picniking. In the winter they have hundreds of snow sculptures for the Snow and Ice Festival. All of the pathways are lined with sculpture after sculpture.
