Sewing Is Not a Superpower. Successfully doing it wrong since the 1970s. Friday, July 17, 2015. Yes, More Fabric. What do you do when you just can't decide which project to start next? Well, go shopping, of course. Look what I found! Every one of these. Bodice of view B, skirt of view A with some other small modifications. It's all cut out and ready to sew. I sort of have slight issues with pink. I love, love. Will I look like a freaky giant baby in it? Will I be taken less seriously wearing so much pink?

I grew up calling February 22 "George Birthington's Washday" and thinking it so funny.obviously, this was before "Presidents' Day". I finally got to work in my studio and made a wonderful, lightweight coat. It might even be called a raincoat, except we never get any rain. Both the pattern and the fabric for this coat came from Marcy Tilton.

Monday, September 8, 2014. First of all, I will be really excited when we get our camera fixed. My phone just does not take the same quality and speed of photos. But, at least I have it, right? So in July, a day came that I can hardly believe. And I will say that for every birthday for the rest of her life. I don't know how to describe how that makes me feel. I look at her and I still see the tiny baby wrapped in a pink blanket six years ago. I have written before about Nora joining our family here.
