Beautiful simple complicated peaceful insanity.life. Saturday, January 26, 2013. I adore my child. I have loved it from the moment i acknowledged the reality of a little body growing in my womb. It was as if his little self was literally embracing my heart as he grew and preparing me for our meeting on the outside. And when he came, the fresh warm sweetness of him melted into my skin in a way that kept us one and reminded us both that we are bonded in this earthly experience. He is becoming a man. And no...

Beautiful simple complicated peaceful insanity.life. Sunday, December 23, 2012. Once upon a Christmas season we went and did a little thing called GOT SICK. I suppose it all began with a giant life. After all you're not living if you're not completely out of your mind busy right? The kind of busy that keeps every moment of your day planned, maybe even too busy for a to do list. Can you imagine too busy for a to do list? A life so big that you. And then of course he calculated the area and perimeter of me...

'Green'er Pastures: August 2011
http://betsycgreen.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 1, 2011. Our next big family adventure happened in February, but December to February is a long time to go with no pictures, so here are three of my faves from that time period! Here is V playing in the leaves in our front yard. Can you believe that all those leaves came from just ONE oak tree! Such a handsome boy! On a hike at Guadalupe River State Park. There is NO telling what they are talking about - maybe nothing, although that's not likely since V is involved! Posted by betsy green.

Monday, April 30, 2012. Aggie Baseball. . . A first. In late April, Jason had business that took him to College Station, so V and I tagged along and we made a fun weekend out of it. We stayed in a hotel, ate great food you can ONLY get in CS (think Koppe Bridge Cheeseburgers! And we all went to an Aggie baseball game! V is so excited he can HARDLY contain himself! Ready to head to the baseball field - Jason and his "mini me". Can we just GO mom? Why do you ALWAYS have to take a picture? One day at a time.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. After a week at Garner and in Fredericksburg, everyone returned to our house for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We traditionally allow one present to be opened on Christmas Eve, and miraculously, it is ALWAYS Vaughn's Christmas pj's! However, this year, we allowed him ONE gift of choice, along with the "pj present". He selected the biggest bag under the tree - with his name on it, and inside was A PILLOW PET! Big Pillow Pet Love! Helping Nonni with her gifts. . . After camping at...

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The Architect and his project manager. The picture quality isn't great, but I love this picture! Erma Bombeck said it best, "Every puppy should have a boy." I am so glad my puppy and my boy have each other! Posted by betsy green. We spent this Mother's Day in Arp, with Jason's parents. While there are LOTS of fun things to do at Nonni and Pop's, when the weather is good and the water level is right, there is really only ONE thing to do! Helping Pop hook up the boat. There's only O...
