There is this couple in our neighborhood that drops by every now and again during the winter months–they don’t let us know that they’re coming a head of time, but we’re always glad to see them when ever they pop over! They’re a bit shy and usually don’t stay long, but if we keep the camera handy we can usually at least get a couple of quick shots while they pause to eat a little! With so much to do and so little time to do it, the temptation comes to focus more on things than people…. Unloading a hay wag...

It’s a Wonderful (ly busy) Life Pt.2 September Memories. In September we had a lot of things going on! One Sunday afternoon the colors and light was so nice out we couldn’t resist the opportunity to take a few family photos…here are a few of the best. A bit dark, with squinty eyed subjects, but a nice setting :). Of course trying to do anything without the dog is difficult at best! A little different angle cuts down on the squinting! Anybody want to try a different spot? Four O’clock flowers. We had pret...

A Lovely Morning! |
http://blog.pottervilla.net/2015/02/a-lovely-morning
The raging winds of yesterday have calmed, the clouds have scattered leaving the warm February sun to send its shimmering rays across the snow that squeaks refreshingly underfoot–what a glorious day! Here in Mid-Michigan it is a beautiful morning! For all you poor folks who don’t get to experience the occasional mornings at ten or twelve degrees below zero (F), here’s what it looks like from the comfort of the 70 degree side of the glass :). Wishing you a blessed Lord’s Day,. Add a comment Cancel Reply.

Howdy and Merry Christmas! As you can see, we’ve got snow:. Greetings from our family to yours for this celebration of our Savior’s birth! It seems like as time marches on and the calendar claims we’re all getting older by the day the minutes and hours fly past all the faster! With so much to do and so little time to do it, the temptation comes to focus more on things than people…. Camping out in the top of a gutted out little yellow house and staying up way late talking…or listing to the other two...

Today is the Sixth of May. That would be six (6! Days after the end of April. And today we were visited again by Mr. Jack Frost. The roofs and car windows were covered, the branches rimmed and the evidence everywhere of his visit. While the arrival of the sun quickly ended his short stay, and it doesn’t appear that the flowers or budding trees were damaged, his appearance at this time is not the most appreciated! May God keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him! This winter has been rather disappoin...
