1 Gačnik na dan ; ). 7julij 2007. Na svetovni dan Zemlje se skupaj s skupino dobrih prijateljev in (poleg alpinizma tudi ;) soteskarskih zanesenjakov znajdemo na vstopu v sotesko potoka Gačnik. Na koncu dneva se odpadkov nabere za 2 veliki vreči (? Za smeti. Tudi na naših telesih pa se počasi pričnejo odražati znaki utrujenosti, ki je posledica 10 in pol urnega spuščanja v objemu relativno hladne vode. Glede na dejstvo, da je bilo nekaj predhodnih obiskovalcev že prisiljenih v neželeno bivakiranje na sre...

Golica - v objemu narcis. Maj je že iz pesmi znan kot mesec cvetočih cvetic. Če se odpravljate na Golico se včasih splača počakati prav nanj. Beli cvetovi so nama že od prvih metrov osvetljevali okolico nežno zeleno zabrisane poti. Kot prgišče najnežnejših novozapadlih snežink. Narcisa, v svojem sožitju z preostalimi prebivalci narave, najbolj zablesti prav v maju. Na pobočjih celotne gore jih je najti na tisoče. Pogosto je tako tudi z obiskovalci, a sva si tokrat očitno rezervirala prave 'karte'.

Najina obzorja: Dolomitski vikend

Pretekli konec tedna sva z Marjano izkoristila za kratek plezalni izlet v osrčje italijanskih Dolomitov, v slikovitega ostenja v okolici prelaza Sella. V četrtek zvečer sva se prek z večerno zarjo ožarjenih gorenjskih dolin odpeljala do edine 'turistične metropole z zgolj enosmernim prometom'. Prihodnji dan pa z najinim prostornim 'Dolomiti Ekspressom' prek prelazov Falzarego ter Pordoi do najinega tokratnega cilja - vršacev okrog prelaza Sella. Splačalo se pa zagotovo JE! Primož, Marjana in najina Neja.

I got a pretty fair history of (luckily mostly) minor injuries. Most of them were a result of my exerting physical efforts in various sports activities that I got to taste, some perhaps also to my sometimes explorative and temperate nature. who could tell in cases like that, right? Giving my sprained left thumb enough time and direct tactile stimulation to heal on its own to some extent - then directly protecting it from repeating injury with a carefully fitted bandage. Having set myself a goal, I was directly on a path towards settling some waiting scores. My summer consisted of getting my mind and body into shape. Finishing my slightly prolonged study schedule. Was the task at hand. I jumped onto it, literarly. Covering all the fundamental areas of medicine - from physics, biochemistry, histology.to my actual favourite - anatomy. It was a strenous path to walk at times, but without that same insight my story wouldn't and couldn't be the same today.

The SMILE of a father! On August 9 2009, myself too, have joined 'the club'. On a quiet sunday evening me and Marjana were blessed with the birth of our firstborn daughter Neja. After a short 'post-festum' period, everything had started moving pretty fast. Suspended in. Meteora! With the winter well behind us, it was time for some lingering in the warm mediteranean sun. Or at least I thought it would be only that. In May 2007 we boarded a ferry to Greece. I heard and read about the amazing and picturesque rock formations of Meteora ever since my early days of climbing. Competition season 06' - part one. January is usually a pretty busy month for. huh, probably just about everybody. starting right after the new year celebrations, then blasting off at full speed like nothing interrupted the rythm in the first place. For me it has been one of the most intense periods of the year for say, 3 straight winters now - especially as the ice-climbing competition season somehow manages to win my attention time and time again. Were definately the places to be at.
