A day in the life. Thursday, April 15, 2010. If I had daughters, I would have expected it.but for some reason it never occurred to me that a little boy would feel the urge to cut his own hair. And I really never imagined that MY son would become the instigator of a multi-child, safety-scissor cutting frenzy while at Pre K. And yet, that's exactly what happened. Now we're just hoping for quick growth before Scott's graduation ceremony in two weeks.or maybe I should start shopping for a cute hat.

A day in the life. Sunday, February 6, 2011. They don't happen very often in Austin, Texas.maybe once every two or three years if we're lucky.so when they do they're pretty darn special! This year, it happened on Friday, February 4. There wasn't enough to make a decent snowman, but there was enough to cover just about everything and plenty to play in. And this year was extra special since it was our first official "school snow day".no Kindergarten for Gage! Beck was so excited to get out in the snow.

As we were getting ready to go out to dinner last night, I overheard the following conversation between Scott and Beck. Scott: Beck, did you wash your hands? Scott: Did you use soap? Scott: Let me smell your hands to make sure. * Smells hands* Okay, your hands are clean. Scott: Did you go potty, too? Scott: Are you sure? Do you want to smell my pee pee? Gotta love little boys.
