Writings of a Rasmussen. Monday, October 31, 2011. Halloween was a fun day! The kids we tend are on track break and we had them all day so we planned enough activities to keep them busy! We began the day by eating eyeballs for breakfast. Logan enjoying his eyeball. The three oldest kids playing "mummy bowling" (Morgan is holding the mummy). It made me so happy to hear him say and that, and that he knows it is true! So, maybe formal lessons are not our thing, but somehow we have done something right to teach him! Writings of a Rasmussen. Friday, February 28, 2014. I can't believe how fast this month went by! Here's the updates on our family for this month. Ella is almost 20 months old and growing and learning so much! She also enjoys cleaning and is such a big helper when its time (or even not time! To clean up all her toys! He loves his monkey school class, and having play dates with his friends from nursery. He will start soccer in April. Hopefully, I can stick to that decision. Lucas, Kelly, Logan and Ella.

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. We have been able to write to Leslie almost everyday, through "Dearelder.com". They deliver to the MTC everyday. So we have been able to write to her, but she has not had as much time to write to us. But, we have had two letters. She is having a good time. She says they are busy all the time going to classes and meetings. They have had several orientation meetings and a couple of devotionals, besides all the study time and classes. I can't wait to hear more! Keep it coming Les!

Writings of a Rasmussen. Sunday, November 18, 2012. My Grandmother passed away 2 years ago. Sad to say, I never felt close to her. She and Grandpa lived with us when we were younger, but it was not a pleasant experience. Years later, after a death in the family, a family feud turned into that scene from "The Office," where Dwight "shuns" Andy. She was Dwight, and our family was Andy. Links to this post. Writings of a Rasmussen. Friday, September 2, 2011. My little boy is changing so much so fast! He has learned a few new words and things this week. Every time we say the words pray, or prayer Logan folds his hands and says be be be be be men! Then claps. He is saying his own little prayers! He got little cars for his birthday that are emergency vehicles he pushes them around and says uh-oh uh oh and then ououou. like they are rushing off to help someone! Links to this post. Sunday, April 26, 2009. Open House in Utah. We had a week between the reception in Vegas and the Open House in Utah. I spent a couple of days during this week sleeping in. It was wonderful to know that I did not have to check on something, or order something, or pick up something! Kelly had a beautiful bouquet! Sunday, January 17, 2010. Spending the week at Grandma and Grandpa's. We had so much fun having Melissa, Jaman and Asher here this week. We took many walks played in the backyard, played games. Asher loved hide and go seek with grandpa. Each morning we were awakened to little feet running into our room and Asher climbing into bed with us and asking to watch the Mickey Mouse Club, then it was Grandma, I am hungry! On one day we decorated a gingerbread house, here they are wearing the Santa's Helper aprons.
