Wednesday, August 20, 2008. It was a perfect day today-sun, low humidity, 80 degrees. We went to the park. We also took along a picnic snack of banana bread that AJ and I baked (still warm). Aaaah, this is summer. In other news, Erin got a big bed. AJ was not as pleased as Erin, though, because that bed was his top bunk until now. AJ is swimming like a madman. Sunday, March 29, 2009. The triathlon went well today. The results will be posted by Tuesday. My friends and I had a great time doing the race and enjoying chit-chat and smoothies post-race. I am very fortunate to have such great family and friends to spend the day with! 30 is rough, but I here 33/34 is worse because then I will really be in my 30s. Tuesday night we went to dinner at Ocean Prime. Great seafood and an excellent bottle of wine. Before we went to dinner, I got my presents. I was sooooo excited! All in all, a great week! Great Clint Eastwood movie filmed in Detroit. Last Thursday, I got to try curling. Yeh. I haven't been this sore since my first time at Pure Barre! I needed some organization in the closets and tossed alot of items that I don't use anymore. I even spent 45 minutes cleaning the vacuum cleaner.pulling hair out of the brush and wiping the dust off of it. Yeah, I was totally feeling like Monica today! By the end of the movie, I was ready to plan my next trip to the Vatican. We found the movie to be very suspenseful, but it didn't seem too long.
