Saturday, June 11, 2011. On Thursday, June 9th we welcomed our beautiful, healthy daughter into our family. Our sweet Sophia Elizabeth. We're both head over heels in love. She is our everything and I am already so proud to be her. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and I will update with a full birth story as soon as we are home and settled in. Emmys favorite babysitter Sommer sent her a huge bag of her old jewelry. She's really in love now! We also had a chance to go swimming at a friends house. The kids are so cute together! Caitlyn had an allergic reaction to peanuts that was straight up scary. We for sure got an Epi pen refill after that one. Where did these two big girls come from!

Living. laughing. loving. learning. I've been inspired by some other blogs to create a page with my "races" pretty much just to have a place to keep track of them. December 12th, 2012. Run, Walk or Roll for MS 5k Aiken, SC. Finished in about 37 minutes. I had just finished the couch to 5k program and this was my first run outdoors. March 2nd, 2013. Heart and Soles 5k. Augusta, GA. Dad and I ran this one together too. It was freezing cold and rainy. Finished in 29:58:41. March 16th, 2013. April 6th, 2013.

Living. laughing. loving. learning. Savannah Rock N' Roll Half Marathon Training. I have a new friend, named Hal Higdon. I'm not really sure how much I like him yet.I think he's trying to kill me. lol :) I started out using his Intermediate Half Marathon Training. Here's what I've been doing:. Monday: (work) 3 mile run (9:05). Tuesday: 6 mile run (9:28)/bodypump. Wednesday: 5x400 @ 5k pace (2.35mi/9:34). Thursday: 3 mile run (9:18)/bodypump. Friday: (work) 3 mile run (9:25)/yoga. Total: 19.35 miles.

Ready to go play :) we are so under-prepared for snow weather. A little walk around the neighborhood. And an early nap with a pretty view of the snow.
