Saturday, March 26, 2011. Our arrival in San Juan Del Sur. The team at Apoyo Lagoon! Sunset at the beach in San Juan Del Sur. We then left the gym and had to drive TWO hours sitting in our nasty sweat. The drive was amazing getting to see all the new parts of the country. Our next stop was Catarina, Nicaragua. Let me tell you it is beautiful! We ate at a restaurant that overlooked Apoyo Lagoon. It is the largest lagoon in Nicaragua. We were all taken back by how beautiful it is! The lunch was very good!

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. It was so nice being able to go there and donate clothes, eye glasses, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and shoes. I like the feeling of giving and really impacting others lives. its been a reoccurring feeling this trip. :) After the women's shelter we walked to a nearby preschool in downtown San Juan Del Sur and gave them school supplies! The kids there were so cute! It was crazy though because there were 30-40 kids in a class. Could you imagine 30-40 preschoolers together? After ...

Friday, March 25, 2011. A tree I thought was unique! We survived our first night in Nicaragua! We woke up this morning and ate breakfast. The hotel had a buffet which had bread, fresh fruit, some bacon, and eggs. I just stuck to the toast! Sunday, March 27, 2011. Today we got to sleep in which was great! We were all sooooo excited to get some sleep! It feels like we have constantly been on the move. not complaining though because this whole experience is more than word could describe! We all piled in the bed of the truck and traveled to the PRIVATE beach! It was one of three beaches where Survivor was filmed. Anyways, back to the ride there :) It was a dirt road through the jungle! I watched it from my horse! She was a hit with the locals!
